    April 22, 2020 /

Praying for the government: please first read Romans 13:1-7 as a platform for prayer (Adapted from 5 things to pray in a Global Crisis by Rachel Jones) 1/ ESTABLISHED BY GOD “The authorities that exist have been established by God” v1 A crisis like this shows how important a stable government is. Pray for those countries (often third world), who are struggling to cope because of poor government. Many of our missionaries are in third world countries, pray for them now. 2/ WILLING…

    Tonights prayer topics!!

    April 8, 2020 /

Toberkeigh Bible reading and prayer suggestions Wed 8th April 8pm Read through 2 Corinthians Ch1:3-11 and reflect on how God comforts us in our troubles…. so that we can then comfort others v4, reflect also that Paul when he despaired of life v8, he learned through this experience to rely on God and not himself v9. Note v 10-11 how Paul connects his deliverance from trouble with the prayers of Gods people and let that inspire you in your prayers for others tonight. Easter is a special time! Give thanks that George Barkley has prepared his talk and Claire McCurdy her testimony for this Friday’s online Good Friday service! (www.toberkeigh.org.uk).…
