Wed 27th May Bible reading Psalm 143:1-12 and prayer time
- Give thanks that amidst the trials of life we can be totally honest with God and ask him each morning to reveal afresh His unfailing love, as we choose to trust in him. v8
- We praise God for the wonderful weather and pray for our farmers and for safety around the farm amidst the busyness.
- Continue to pray for the Smyth, Dobbin and Wilkinson family, in particular for Ryan and for Hannah.
- Continue to give thanks and pray for the McVicker and McIntyre families, pray that Harrison and Olivia will flourish in these early days and in God’s time come to know and love him, we remember Richard and Becky expecting later in the year!
- Continue to give thanks for new life in Christ, pray that those who have come to faith will grow and mature in their faith each day.
- Pray for our children as they prepare for our children’s day on-line service Sun 7th June, give thanks for their creativity and talents. The theme for my talk will be: “Getting to know Jesus through prayer and bible reading”
- Give thanks for the opportunity to share the word of God on line each Sunday and please pray for me as I seek God’ heart for this Sunday!
- Pray for the National and local governments to make wise decisions as they consider the appropriate time to ease lockdown restrictions!
- Remember those who are potentially alone and isolated at this time, and those you know who are ill or recently bereaved!
- Continue to remember our various missionaries during these challenging times.
