Wednesday 13th May Bible reading John 11:17-44 & Time of prayer:
- Continue to give thanks for the good weather and God’s daily provision and pray for protection around the farm and all those working in the food industry.
- Continue to pray for our weekly on-line service that Christ will be glorified through his word preached. Our theme this Sunday: “What will happen AFTER Jesus comes back?” From Rev 20:11-15
- Give thanks for last weeks’ committee meeting and pray for the committee and elders to have wisdom in ongoing decisions relating to finance and how to best support Church members and neighbours during the period of lockdown.
- Pray for our elders as they seek to meet via zoom next week for prayer and seeking God’s guidance.
- Pray for Ryan Smyth as he comes to terms with his wife and daughters tragic death. Pray also for Hannah Smyth (5) as she recovers in hospital after emergency surgery.
- Pray for John Stanbridge and Alan Buick as they minister to the Smyth family and extended family in the aftermath of this tragedy & amidst restrictions of lockdown.
- Remember Hannah McVicker whose sister (in England) died last week.
- Remember Robert & Phyllis Mckeeman!
- Remember those who are “expecting” Stevie and Sarah Jane, Andrew and Claire, Richard and Becky.
- Continue to remember families during the lockdown that God will bind them together in love for God, and love for one another!
- Give thanks and pray for those who have recently come to faith in Christ!
- Continue to pray for the national and local government to have wisdom in how best to guide the country forward amidst the current uncertainty.
- Give thanks for and continue to remember the NHS workers
